Hiking in the Alps – part 1

IMAG1573 copy

This weekend I was hiking in the alps in a place called Trift brücke (Trift Bridge). This bridge is one of  longest walking suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps. The bridge length is 170 meters and traversing a height of 100 mts. From the bridge you can see the spectacular view of the mountains around and the enormous Gletscher.  Getting there was not hard, actually there are two ways you can access the bridge: the normal way and the  bit more difficult in which u have to descent part of the mountain climbing.  What I did was taking the easy way to get to the bridge and then taking the harder way to get back. I definitely recommend going this way and on the way back to take a small coffee once you get to one of the Hütte that is on the top. Overall it took me around 4 hrs including stops. The elevation is from 1400 mts up to almost 2000 mts.

I will upload the pictures taken with my Nikon D800 in the next post in the meantime i share this one from my phone…..
